Back in the early days of Nickelodeon in the US they showed kid anime. I was was so awesome I was hooked! I remember only Grimm Tales though. D: But I'm sure there was more out there. ^_^

I'm not sure if this was Nickelodeon, but I really enjoyed the smurfs.
Their humming tune will forever be engraved in my memories.
